Hi, there everyone my name is Mabel thanks a ton for visiting my page. I am a newly published author, a small business owner, a licensed minister, and my favorite of all a sister to many. I am of Liberian and Sierra Leonian heritage but I was born in a small country on the west coast of Africa called Ivory Coast. My family and I moved to the United States in 2000. We now live in Apopka FL where I run my small business and also work part-time as a nanny. I've spent the latter half of my life working with youth and children as a camp counselor, youth leader, dance instructor, community rights advocate, and even now in my small business. I believe children are the future leaders of tomorrow and I desire to impart to them a sense of purpose, identity, faith, hope, and love. I've recently co-founded a ministry with my sister, for young women of color, called My Sister's Keeper. I consider it to be one of my life's greatest accomplishments. My Sister's Keeper enables me to be the mentor and life coach I so desperately needed, but unfortunately never had.
My Sister's Keeper was founded to help women grow in their faith. Our goal is to empower women to fulfill their purpose by first restoring their sense of identity and self-worth. Through our mentorship programs, we walk alongside women who are in what we call "marketplace ministry" and provide them with training that is needed to be successful. As a ministry, we host an annual gathering where we impart biblical principles. Women leave our events renewed in their vision, restored in identity, and revived in faith.
My Sister's Keepers programs help women understand their identity so they can better fulfill their purpose in life. Our discipleship program hones in on the themes of personal, communal, and corporate identity, whereas our mentorship program offers one on one assistants with starting a business. Lastly, we offer a partnership program for women who would like to network and learn from other women in business. To learn more about our services please click the link below to register.
We believe one of the greatest adversity to purpose is a jealous mindset and the solution to this is to know our identity. We can all too easily fall into the trap of comparison and view ourselves as less than or greater than others. Having Knowledge of our identity causes us to not compete with one another but instead to support and celebrate each other. At Sis, (My Sister's Keeper) we help women to know both their individual, commutative, and corporate identity. By being affirmed within who we are we overcome jealous and competitive mindsets. We rise when we cultivate brotherly or in this case sisterly love and we celebrate one another. We reject the mindset of Cain and embrace the spirit of Christ.
"Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is your brother Abel?” “I don’t know,” he replied. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”
Divided we fall but united we stand. God didn't create us to be alone but instead, He made us for a relationship with one another and with Him. As a community, it is important to us that we remain in constant fellowship with one another. We try our best to ensure each woman within our community is encouraged and supported along her journey. There is unity in Community.
“The LORD God said, “It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
Mentorship comes in many different forms. Whether that is an older woman teaching a younger woman or a more experienced woman teaching a woman who is lacking in knowledge in an area. We are here to help each other regardless of what season of life we may be in by pouring into one another the wisdom and knowledge we too have learned along the way.
"Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love, and endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. "
We believe that Jesus was fully God and man. We believe He was born of a virgin, died for our sins, and was raised from the dead to life.
We believe in the triune nature of God. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe sex is to be had only within the context of marriage between a man and woman.
We believe that marriage should be between a male and a female.

My latest book "The Lost Get Found” is a purpose filled journey of discovering you. In this book I take readers on a step by step journey from being lost to being found in Christ. On September 25, 2021 I will be launching my new book during our women's conference. Myself and a panel of all women will discuss the themes found within this book. We will touch on the topics of purpose and identity and how they contribute to our calling as the bride of Christ. All are welcome but seating is limited.
